About - Candids By Hailey

I have been passionate about photography for over a decade, starting as a hobbyist before officially launching my business in 2023 in my hometown in the state of Kansas. Fast forward two years and my husband and I now call the beautiful state of Wyoming home.

Something clients tend to ask me is, why photography? My answer is simple: the blessing. I have yet to be able to put into words how truly special it is to me that I get to witness such beautiful, special moments in your life and preserve them. It really is such a heartwarming feeling being chosen to capture them.

What does a session with me look like?

I know how it feels to be in front of the camera when nobody guides you, and with me, you will never be wondering "What do I do with my hands?"

I have worked hard to be able to make sure all of my clients feel comfortable, confident, and best of all ENJOY their sessions! I can recall a specific comment from a family session I was wrapping up where the dad said, "I could take pictures like this all the time if they were always like that." Before your session I will have scouted out the location, whether that be in person, or online. I will have a vision for the photoshoot I have discussed with you or built based on your inspiration provided. From there, I will build posing or prompts to make the session feel like a breeze!
